01Booking and payment
Do I need an account to book?
No. Your name, email and phone number are enough.
With an account you skip entering those next time, and you can see past bookings on My page.
When and how do I pay?
The full amount is paid in advance at the time of booking. Available methods are クレジットカード・Alipay・WeChat Pay。
Payment happens on Stripe's page, so card numbers never pass through this site.
Your booking is confirmed once payment clears. There is nothing to pay on arrival.
What if I book but do not pay?
We hold the dates for 30 minutes. If payment is not confirmed in that time, the dates are released automatically.
There is no cancellation fee. You are welcome to book again from the start.
How do I cancel?
The following cancellation charges apply. Please contact us by phone or through the enquiry form.
Up to 30 days before the stay: free
29–15 days before: 30% of the accommodation charge
14–8 days before: 50%
7 days to the day before: 80%
On the day, or no-show without contact: 100%
Can I get a receipt?
Stripe emails a receipt after payment. If you need the name on it changed, let us know.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Cottage Choshi Hyakuri： Check-in 15:00–20:00 ／ Check-out 10:00
Umikaze-no-Yado Usami： Check-in 15:00–20:00 ／ Check-out 10:00
How many people can stay?
Cottage Choshi Hyakuri： 8–16 guests。8 guests Guests beyond that number are charged extra.
Umikaze-no-Yado Usami： 6–10 guests。6 guests Guests beyond that number are charged extra.
Are meals included?
No — the houses are self-catering. There is a kitchen, so you can cook whatever you bring back.
One house has a permanent barbecue grill. Please bring charcoal and food.
Are towels and toiletries provided?
Bath towels, face towels, shampoo, body wash and a hairdryer are provided.
Please bring personal items such as toothpaste and cosmetics.
Is there a bathtub?
Whether there is a bathtub differs by house — please check the Amenities section on each house's page. We can also point you to a nearby hot spring.
Is there parking?
Cottage Choshi Hyakuri： 4 spaces (free)
Umikaze-no-Yado Usami： 3 spaces (free)

One request about the neighbours.
Both houses are in residential areas where people live. Please keep voices down outdoors at night, and with the windows open.
This is the one thing we ask repeatedly. Whether we can keep running these houses depends on it.
Can I bring a pet?
We are sorry — not at present.
Is smoking allowed?
The houses are entirely non-smoking indoors. Please use the designated area outside.
Can I use the house for a party or an event?
Gatherings of family and friends are very welcome.
For events open to the general public, or commercial use, please talk to us in advance. We do not permit them without notice.
